Returning from China

It's been a while since I've updated my blog, so wanted to keep you informed of what's happening.

I'm currently stuck in a snowstorm at Chicago O'Hare airport waiting for a flight home to Charleston. I spent the last 3 weeks at our factory in China with Oscar and our other Epic staff there.

We have some exciting things going on. We've been working with our laminating and assembly crews to further improve the quality of our boats and keep the weights down.

Our ICF project is starting to take shape. We'll be making a few modifications to the deck of our K-1's. Ted Van Dusen is actively working on new K-2 designs.

We've heard through the grapevine that you would like to see more frequent updates on our web sites. What would you like to see? Should we have more active blogs?

One idea was for Oscar & I to share a blog, with each of us committed to updating at least once every 2 weeks. This would give an update by one of us every week. Or we could keep separate blogs and update at each one at least twice a month.
